What the militarization of the police and the war on drugs does. At some point we should end this insanity. It takes a politician getting raided for something to get done. In this case, police departments have to report why they use SWAT teams. Instead of hostage situations or bank robberies, something like 90+% of the situations are no-knock type raids. Good use of police resources, or not.
