Thoughts on Gay Marriage and Judge Vaughn Walker

I think gay marriage is probably inevitable given demographic changes, and compared to what us heterosexuals have done to the institution (paying people to have babies out of wedlock, or at least incentivizing it, no-fault divorce, setting up Social Security and Medicare so people have less babies and therefore severing the link between marriage and children , etc.) it probably won't do that much harm to the institution. But, that doesn't mean it won't cause problems over the short term. Especially if we don't change the institution from the bottom up, instead of the top down. I do think any argument, legally, you can make for gay marriage you can probably make for polygamy or polyandry. Except for no it's only two people, which is also arbitrary.
