The cognitive elite

I wonder how much of this is causing the widening of the income gap, etc. But, that would imply things are genetic, and we can't have that. A meritocracy can be a bi#$*, for those of us not with the gifts that mean being on the top of the pyramid, whether it's old money or cognition. And they don't really know any of us. I just hope they don't think that because they are smarter then the rest of us, that they can solve all or the country's problems or tell us what to do. But, I expect they do.
